Personal Bio:

Jenny began her career working with the Childcare Committee as Childcare Services Development Officer before moving on to work in the home, early years and school settings. In the home setting Jenny worked as a Home Support Worker in the adult disability sector. Jenny also spent time working in the early years field as a Manager of a Creche and Pre-school. Later Jenny continued working in the education sector as Behaviour Support Classroom Staff, School Completion Project Worker in Deis schools and as a Childcare Tutor & Access Worker.

Area of Interest:

Jenny is a mother of two children and is currently in private practice in Dunhill, Co. Waterford. She also provides mobile play and art therapy for children experiencing a wide range of emotional, behavioural and life experience difficulties such as excessive anxiety, anger, bereavement and loss, low self-esteem, school challenges, bullying, trauma, learning and developmental difficulties. In addition, Jenny works in a primary school where she offers individual and group therapy. Jenny primarily utilises a non-directive child centred approach and works together with the parents/carers to support the child, establish goals and track progress.
