More recently, Karen has developed her play therapy practice to include the principles and practices of Theraplay and Filial Therapy.   Both programmes support parents to build better relationships with and become more confident in emotionally supporting their children, either through 1-3 sessions involving observations/ consultations or completing the whole programme.

Karen also has a special interest in working with children with Autism and children with disabilities, particularly in supporting their development of play skills and relationship skills.
