Personal Bio:
After completing her undergraduate degree, Meghan began her career working as an Early Years Educator in Cork. As she learned to appreciate and understand the vast complexities of children, she decided to continue her studies to become a qualified Play Therapist. Meghan has a passion for working with children, and loves to learn from them as they learn from her. She values how important the early years are in relation to our later development. In her jobs and in her studies, she has learned that investment in the early years proves vital in creating a successful and sustainable future for our world. As a non-directive Play Therapist, Meghan aims to provide a space for children with emotional or behavioural challenges to feel safe. This space allows them the comfort to connect with their own feelings and encourages them to learn more about themselves. Meghan follows the belief that children will guide their own process, and her role as a play therapist is to be supportive alongside them on their therapeutic journey.
